Koenig Krieg

Koenig Krieg

Wargames Rules: Koenig Krieg

This edition allows players to not only re-fight battles during the wars of Frederick the Great, but also the Great Northern War, Napoleonic Wars, American Civil War, War of Triple Alliance, Mexican American War, Zulu Wars, Crimean, Franco-Prussian and Austro-Prussian wars as well.

Koenig Krieg is a set of wargame rules for recreating 18th-century battles with miniature soldiers. Units represent infantry battalions, cavalry regiments and artillery sections, but the rules are designed to allow players to command armies that are as large as those historically fielded during the period.

Inside the book:

  • Clearly presented rules, easy to read with plenty of diagrams and examples.
  • Sequence of play with detailed rules for command and control, movement, shooting, close combat, exploitation and morale.
  • Brigade Morale Rules and Combined Action Rules.
  • Reaction Rules and Village and Garrison Rules.
So come on and play Koenig Krieg, it's the way Freddy would have played it!
